Rixos Qetaifan Island North

Opening mid 2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sq m of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's waterpark attraction The Icon Tower, the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height.

Recruitment Executive

This position is responsible for the full recruitment life cycle to include, but not limited to, sourcing, screening, interviewing, checking references and onboarding qualified candidates based on departmental business needs and requests.

What you will be doing:
- Initiate the recruitment process through the taleo recruitment system.
- Creating the requisition and posting on the Accor career and others channels.
- Responsible for the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking and preparing offer letters.
- Map role criteria, define position description and document specifications
- Track and identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels
- Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility
- Shortlisting and arranging the interview with respective department and recruitment manager/HR director
- Coordinating with recruitment agencies to follow up on candidate status.
- Assist the hiring manager and recruitment manager on weekly recruitment reports/status.
- Research and develop recruiting leads
- Coordinate with the government relation team on the employment visa process.
- Keep track of recruitment tracker and update in a timely manner for accurate reports.
- Monitor the job post and close it once the position is filled.
- Coordinate with candidates on their onboarding plan and communicate to the team accordingly.
- Assist team on other functions of Human Resources.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum 1-2 years of hotel/resort experience within Middle East
- Experience in working a Complex or Cluster role is an added advantage.
- Should have knowledge of Qatar labor law
- Candidates available in Qatar with NOC will have an added advantage.
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management/Business Management
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel & Word
- Must be self-motivated with an "I can do" attitude.
- Ability to be multitasking and handle the pressure
