Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Specific Role Purpose:
- Refractory/Insulation Supervisor (Fabric Maintenance Supervisor) is to manage established contracts, quantity estimation and active participation in the procurement of refractory /insulation materials on time, and safe execution of work at site with contracted manpower. He is to handle the demand of Refractory lining maintenance activity as follows, identification of required materials on time to order, coordination with vendor & contractor for safe, timely and cost effective execution.
- He will be responsible to supervise the Maintenance work, including check and verification of drawings & details, specification requirements, preparing the Method Statement, JSA, work execution and management of works to minimize the cost of Maintenance activities, follow maintenance procedures continuously to ensure maximum operational efficiency.

Specific Accountabilities:
- Supervises and coordinates works according to established procedures, policies and approved programs. With these parameters, exercises judgment in planning and organizing work, deciding immediate priorities, setting standards, checking and accepting work. Job includes regular maintenance, planning for the shutdown, timely completion with safety and quality, prepare and submit reports. Technical Bid Evaluation for all materials and contracts.

Requirements

- HND or Bachelor degree or equivalent in Ceramic Engineering with specialization in Refractory.
- Overall 15 + years’ experience in the refractory line, with minimum 5 years’ experience in refractory installation & repair works in the Oil & Gas in the supervisory position with maintenance and shut down experience.
- Familiar with International standards.
- Gulf experience is preferred.
- Good spoken English, ability to write technical reports.
- Computer literature, shall be able perform MS office, internet and basic computer applications.
- Ability to read refractory design drawings.
