Sales Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is currently seeking a Sales Manager for their Qatar office.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of building materials.

Key Responsibilities:
* Grow and establish the aluminum and glazing contracting business unit in Qatar
* Improve the supply chain in relation to the metalwork offerings and managing specific aspects of tenders and orders from start to finish
* Manage tenders and project margin expectations
* Manage specifications for company products
* Ensure all specifications and tenders adhere to the relevant standards
* Develop relationships at Director level with end users, architects and main contractors
* Continue to expand the architects exposure and win specifications
* Ensure that building products business unit has healthy tender pipeline, which is managed on a daily basis

Requirements

* 5-10 years experience in construction/manufacturing industry
* Must have a proven track record in the aluminum and glazing sales industry
* Extensive knowledge of aluminum, glazing systems (ie: curtain wall, and structural glazing), glass partitions, balustrades, handrails, aluminum fabrication, aluminum composite panels, skylights, doors and windows
* Excellent English communications skills
* GCC experience preferably residing in Qatar
