Science Teacher

Job description / Role

We’re currently recruiting for a schooling group in Qatar who are seeking a Science Teacher to join their team in January 2024 who has experience in teaching iGCSE & A-level.

Due to the increase in student numbers, the schools continue to expand and is looking for skilled and experienced teachers to join their team and ensure a high level of teaching and learning, whilst being a team player and supporting with whole school activities.

There are 5 Talib schools in Qatar, some teaching the International Baccalaureate, IB curriculum and some teaching the British Curriculum. experience in teaching one the British curriculum is desired. The school is keen to speak to teachers from the UK, America, Canada or South Africa and offers training and career development to those interested.

Students at this school focus on concepts and skill-based learning, with importance to language learning and mathematical abilities and are well prepared for easy and effective transition to IGCSE and A Levels and other international curriculums. The school offers personalized learning and students benefit from an enrichment programme to strengthen their cocurricular and extracurricular capabilities

Teachers are offered an excellent package (see attached document) which includes:

• Qualified Science Teacher, able to teach iGCSE and A-Level
• You must be professional, adaptable and passionate about your subject, able to demonstrate effective teaching and learning.
• You Must be fully qualified and available to start in January 2024.

Salary:
QAR 10,000 to 12,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
