Job description / Role
We are looking for a Security Senior Specialist support the Head of Security.
•To contribute to the development and implementation of a security and safety management system for the organisations facilities
•Conduct, develop, and implement security and safety risk assessments, training and plans and procedures
•Ensure that operations of security and safety on the premises are in line with recognized and established security standards
Requirements
Education and certifications:
Bachelros Degree in Security related field
Security certification from a recognized body (CCP, PSP or risk management certification preferred)
Safety Certification (NEBOSH certification and/or diploma
Experience and skills:
8-10 years of experience in security and safety related roles. Good understanding of security and safety regulations in Qatar is an advantage;
Demonstrated experience implementing organization-wide standards;
Strong written and spoken communications skills;
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a diverse workforce and to thrive within a complex organizational structure;
Demonstrated experience in crisis management, business continuity, and security initiatives
Understanding of security, safety, and quality compliance;
Demonstrated team leadership skills; proven ability to manage change
A keen business understanding and instincts and the ability to establish credibility and build relationships at all levels;
Strong presentation and training skills in safety and security ;
Strong computer skills;
Project management skills; and
The ability to integrate critical information from diverse areas
