Job description / Role
The Senior BIM Coordinator is responsible for the model design elements using standard BIM tools (Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks).
Building and configuring the common data environment that hosts design & BIM data.
Producing cut sheets and production drawings from the BIM model.
Provide support to design disciplines in modeling & collaboration tasks.
Follow the approved CAD/BIM modeling standards/practices.
Consult better practices/enhancements to modeling and production workflows.
Integrate BIM model data with cost & schedule (4D, 5D) BIM.
Assemble models from design base files.
Configure and run clash tests, produce clash test reports.
Provide technical guidance and training in using standard BIM modeling tools.
Requirements
Degree in a related discipline with 7 years minimum experience in infrastructure design BIM field.
Proficiency in using AutoCAD Civil 3D & Navisworks Manage, good knowledge in the rest of Autodesk suite of products. Desired to have some knowledge in Bentley products.
Proven previous experience in roads & infrastructure projects.
Excellent knowledge of British BIM standards (PAS1192 series).
Very good English required, Arabic is a plus.
Good writing and reporting skills.
GCC experience is a plus.
