Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: Manage prequalification process for contractors, suppliers, and consultants while adhering to Company's prequalification policies. Prepare invitations for prequalification including pre-qualification questionnaire/ request for qualifications.

Policies and Procedures
- Assist in the Implementation of policies, procedures, and operational standards

Operations
- Develop criteria for vendors’ prequalification in-line with Company’s standards
- Develop and maintain database of contractors, suppliers, and consultants using an online registration system
- Manage prequalification process for contractors, suppliers, and consultants while adhering to Company’s prequalification policies, including:
- Prepare an invitation for prequalification including pre-qualification questionnaire/ request for qualifications
- Create a long list of contractors, suppliers, and consultants, issue invitation for prequalification and receive documentation
- Receive vendors’ qualifications, evaluate, and perform scoring based on pre-set criteria
- Establish list of preferred bidders
- Provide list of recommended vendors to project teams to initiate tendering process
- Perform collection of feedback from project teams to monitor contractors’ performance
- Perform updating of prequalification and supplier information on a regular basis

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance performance and quality of work with a view of stakeholders’ expectations

Health, Safety & Environment
- Follow all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude

Requirements

- Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- 8 -10 years of experience with 4 - 6 years in the ME, vendor pre-qualification experience preferred.
