The Company

We have been instructed to identify a key individual to join their team on a $multi billion infrastructure in Doha on a secondment basis to a major government client.

Requirements

The Person

- Must hold a BSc in QS from a recognised Western University
- LLM, LLB or similar legal qualification is highly desirable
- Min of 20 years experience of prime contract administration and management experience with large international engineering and construction firms with at least 10 of them working in a similar capacity at governmental or semi governmental institutes (acting as buyer) supporting large construction or infrastructure projects
- Excellent knowledge of FIDIC suite of contracts
- Familiarity of Qatari law is essential
- Experience in dealing with high value claims, dispute resolution, mediation, adjudication & arbitration on largescale construction and infrastructure projects in the Middle East
- Ability to work as part of a specialised team but equally able and motivated to work autonomously and the minimum of supervision
- Experience and ability to perform at management level (experience ideally gained in a similar role in governmental or semi governmental client organisations)
