Employment: Full Time

The Senior Counsel will be in charge of providing sound legal advice in respect of all the banks litigation activity and highlight and mitigate potential disputes

Client Details

A leading Financial Services provider spanning across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia

Description

* Assist the Group Head of Litigation to ensure as far as possible (given the requirements for a high standard of work product) at the lowest possible cost for litigation and provide information on any major development in domestic litigation.
* Possess superior knowledge of all related laws and regulations such as Court Procedures, Arbitration Procedures (LCIA/ICC), Company Laws, Civil Laws, as well as the related best practices and ensure that the "know-how" is passed on to the rest of Group Legal for use in future transactions.

Job Offer

Form part of the group's strategic committee and get involved in key decision making for the local and international group. Travel to global offices and gain international exposure. Manage your own team of Lawyers and professionals

Requirements

Candidates who apply must meet all of the below criteria

* Qatari National (Qatari Passport) with relevant Law degree / LLB
* 6-10 years post qualifying experience working in litigation (corporate and civil)

Please note that we are open on industry/sector experience. Candidates do not need to come from financial services/banking industries. Any Qatari National with Litigation experience can apply
