Established in 2001 as a partnership between Cornell University and Qatar Foundation, WCM-Q is part of Weill Cornell Medicine in New York. WCM-Q, the first medical school in Qatar and a pioneer of coeducation at university level, for 17 years of operation, we have been providing the finest education for medical students, conducting cutting-edge research, improving health care and provide the highest quality of care to the community. We are hiring for the position of Senior Manager, Business & Education Solutions.

The work and what it looks like:

You will play an integral role in the ITS division, providing leadership and direction in the development, management & evaluation of technology services and systems that support business, teaching, learning, and web development at the College. You will represent ITS on educational and business information services committees, serve as the primary liaison for related activities and integration of educational business technology programs and products for the college, partner with stakeholders to develop programs ensuring they meet college requirements. You will also be in charge of planning, implementation and operations for student Information systems, classroom & course management systems, faculty teaching support, distance & distributed learning, mobile applications & business application systems, contribute to the shaping of Policies & Procedures, Spearhead innovative programs, ensure coordination in educational systems between academic affairs in NYC & Qatar, Oversee the technology projects, and web application presence for the entire campus, perform all aspects of HRM including evaluation, recruitment, retention and strategic personnel development plans, providing appropriate guidance, mentoring, feedback and evaluation to the team.

You hold a Bachelor’s degree, with preference to Master’s Degree holders, and have at least 5 years of previous managerial experience. You must have prior experience in technology services and systems that support Businesses, You are able to maintain a team-oriented approach, and possess the ability to cultivate positive and collegial workplace relationships.

Compensation will include a competitive salary with supplement for Foreign Service, housing and transportation.
