Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Positively mentoring, supervising, and training Purchasers
• Reviewing and signing outgoing Purchase Orders from other Purchasers
• Reviewing Suppliers’ bills and signing before forwarding to Finance Department
• Evaluating suppliers and selecting preferred suppliers for each item category, and propose specific suppliers for individual items
• Analyzing weak areas and gaps in supplier list and sourcing and contacting new qualified suppliers to cover these
• Proactively researching new items and proposing these to the Sales Department
• Collaborating with Sales Department and Creative Studio for Client proposals
• Analyzing previous and upcoming exhibitions and recommending participations
• Processing Tender submissions and providing cost estimations for tenders and event proposals
• Processing requests from major clients, including keeping informed on guidelines, and seek approvals from sub-licensees
• Proposing fast-moving items for stock keeping to the Client Relationship Manager
• Review cost estimations calculated by Purchasers prior to sending for Client Relationship Manager
• Adding Clients and Vendors in Focus Accounts Tree
• Maintaining the Quotation Log
• Providing data to the Client Relationship Manager for monthly Sales report
• Providing monthly and quarterly reports on Procurement performance
• Keeping good relations with assigned Suppliers, including keeping updated on offers, promotions, and new products to propose to the Sales team
• Evaluating Suppliers yearly based on pre-defined guidelines
• Negotiating improvement of credit facilities with Suppliers and Branding providers
• Keeping Supplier list, catalogues, and computer files organized
• Working according to established policies and procedures
• Integrating into the team and contributing to a healthy workplace culture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree; fluent in English; excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Good leadership skills. Excellent in MS Office (especially Excel).
• Should have 5 years of experience, 2-3 years of Purchasing and Sourcing internationally.
