Employment: Full Time

POSITION OBJECTIVES
Responsible for delivering the relevant prescribed KPIs encompassing:

Retail Operations - effectively leading and managing the retail portfolio to achieve the company prescribed KPIs; budgeting and sales forecasting, planning, marketing, merchandizing, stock selection, logistics, inventory and warehouse operations, and to ensure overall that the highest levels of customer sales and service are achieved at all times. Heading the opening of new stores within the portfolio and working with various stakeholders to ensure smooth, successful and timely store openings.

Brand & Principle Relations - developing and maintaining positive active relationships with business partners and brand principles to ensure positive ongoing support for brands within the portfolio

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (including but not limited to)
• Development of a regional and comprehensive annual business plan by portfolio
• Manage the launching of new/existing concepts regionally
• Conduct regular competitor & market awareness reviews
• Develop or enhance prescribed customer services standards
• Establish, set and implement sales targets and associated measure reflective of prescribed company requirements
• Achieve and further maximize sales opportunities (and brand awareness) through the development and implementation of an effective marketing calendar
• Develop, implement and maintain a ‘People Strategy’ focusing on staff training, development, succession planning, etc. across the portfolio
• Ensure execution of all visual elements pertaining to stores both internally / externally and during all retail events as per principles requirements and guidelines
• Set relevant suite of ‘core retail KPIs’ linked to the goals around service, selling and general retail operations; and establish process and procedures for monitoring, interpreting and taking necessary actions regarding the same
• Analyze and provide regular reports to senior management regarding performance against targets, KPIs, etc. and actions taken to rectify short falls
• Develop relevant budgets for brands and submit and discuss with senior management for sign off
• Lead, oversee and manage the end to end process for development and opening of new stores within the portfolio in conjunction with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth, successful and timely store openings
• Develop buying plan outlining potential inventory spend allocation
• Lead merchandise procurement planning (by brand by category as required), selection and oversee placement of orders
• Positively manage relationships with existing partners, principles, master franchisors, license holders, etc.
• Understand lease documentation and the tenants associated responsibilities as it relates to the initial opening and implement and manage necessary procedures via the tenant delivery team to achieve tenant compliance against the same.
• Works closely with leasing to support design solutions and tenancy programs.
• Perform related tasks, as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

Job Requirements:
• Minimum of 15 years work experience in a managerial capacity, preferably in the Retail / FMCG background
• Excellent track record in Management within Retail or working with a premium or prestige brand
• Ability to lead, coach, train and develop a large retail team to maximize potential and performance
• Must possess a strong understanding of Customer Service needs and customer priorities
• Excellent interpersonal skills with service minded nature and outgoing personality
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Broad experience in Sales and Commercial performance, Inventory Management, Finance and Budgeting, product selection and buying of top luxury brands and handling international fashion/furniture business
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills
• Highly Creative and innovative
• Able to be trusted with confidential and sensitive company information

Education:
• Bachelor’s or Masters in Commerce, Retail Management/ Marketing or similar discipline
