Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To serve customers and to attend to the customer's needs and ensure compliance of work station to the Foodmark operational standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Arranges tables, chairs, plates and table settings as prescribed.
- Obtains current information regarding soup of the day and lunch special, as well as menu items not available for the day.
- Receives, smiles, greets and ushers guests to table.
- Presents menus and answers all questions regarding food and drink items.
- Removes excess table settings when customers are seated.
- Takes and repeats customers' orders and helps in selecting food items as necessary.
- Suggests and promotes specialty of the house, promotions and seasonal products.
- Makes sure orders are served promptly to customers and attends to additional orders and requests.
- Clears dirty dishes and merchandise additional menu items, including dessert, coffee, tea, etc.
- Presents guest checks or chits, receives payments and remits payments to the cashier.
- When customers are ready to leave, ushers them out with a smile and says, "Thank you, sir. Thank you, ma'am. Come again."
- Cleans tables and refilling water pitchers and ice buckets. Resets the table as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness in the dining area.
- Attends to customers' needs, requests, suggestions, inquiries and complaints.
- Prepares, cleans, and maintains the waiter station and dining area.
- Handles minor customer complaints, and refers major complaints to the Dining Supervisor.
- Replaces and refills condiments.
- Assists in conducting inventory of utensils.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- To ensure accurate cash, credit card and voucher management in accordance with policies and procedures

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

- College graduate preferred but not required

Language
- English

Job Experience

- 6 - 12 months restaurant experience Technology
