Job description / Role
The role holder is responsible to supervise the Shift Engineers in monitoring the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) database of Kahramaa’s water transmission & distribution networks and in evaluation of the quantity and pressure of water within each zone of the transmission and distribution system.
The role holder is also responsible to ensure that all identified anomalies, equipment malfunctions and network leaks are reported to concerned departments for timely rectification of the issue, in order to ensure that water is pumped and is flowing effectively within the Kahramaa’s water network and to ensure the Water Quality Parameters are maintained by the IWPPs as per the PWPAs.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical and Process Engineering discipline, post-graduate degree preferred.
