Senior Systems Administrator - VMware / vSphere/ Banking / Virtualization
We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Virtualization Systems Administrator to join one of the Middle East and Africa's largest and most prestigious financial institutions in their Qatar headquarters.
As a Senior Systems Administrator, your goal will be to improve and grow the bank's infrastructure while enhancing the overall reliability and resilience of the firm’s core systems and services to ensure maximum security and operational continuity. This will require knowledge across various server operating systems, as well as virtualization and storage technologies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience working as a Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer, in a large IT infrastructure server environment with reputable, global organisations
• Minimum of 2 years experience working at a Senior/ Managerial level
• Excellent knowledge and understanding in Windows server operating systems
• Strong knowledge in VMware and vSphere (v6.5) essential
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (or related)
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• vSphere certification essential
• Banking experience preferred
