Senior Technical Manager

Job description / Role

Michael Page are working with a main contractor in Qatar that is delivering mega Infrastructure, road and highway projects across the country. The company requires a Senior Technical Manager with extensive experience in Infrastructure & Roads projects ( Minimum 25 Years of experience with minimum 10 years in managerial position) with good knowledge of the GCC market.

• The position will report directly to the CEO and will manage all hands-on Technical & Engineering aspects for the company.
• The role will assist the CEO in the successful growth of the company by developing technical & engineering strategies.
• This role will provide the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil).
• Minimum 25 years’ experience including 10 years in a managerial role in a similar field.
• Demonstrated experience in engineering analysis.
• Broad knowledge of building codes.
• Experience with complex projects.
• Minim 10 years of GCC experience is preferred.
• MMUP Registered Engineer (UPDA) grade A is preferred.
