Spa Supervisor

What will you be doing?

- To assist the Spa Manager and guide the spa team in providing efficient, prompt, and personalized service to all guests in a safe and hygienic environment, in order to maximize guest satisfaction and organizational profitability in an atmosphere of teamwork and high employee morale.
- Responsible for keeping SPA and surrounding areas in a thoroughly clean, well-maintained condition.
- Strictly follow Lost and found procedure.
- Exercise and control strategies to break even while looking at ways and means for cost reduction without affecting quality.
- Effectively manage Spa department to maintain brand standards and assist in achieving budget and other agreed objectives.
- Reports directly to and communicates with the Spa Manager and / or the Hotel Manager on all pertinent matters affecting his/her department.
- Assists in supervision of all SPA areas.
- Work closely with other departments related to the to ensure effective customer orientated operation.
- Establish effective open communication lines throughout to ensure internal and external information is passed on to all levels.
- To deliver staff training programmes to keep ahead of changes within the industry to maintain and enhance the service standards of the operation.
- Implement duties in line with the set Quality standards, Security and Health & Safety requirements and applicable legislations.
- Conducts daily briefing in the absence of the Spa Manager.
- Foster good relationships with Guests and other organizational departments, to handle members' complaints and suggestions, promptly and professionally.
- To maintain an effective sales process to ensure all revenues are achieved.
- Evaluate the performance of the team and give feedback to the Spa Manager for individual development programs.
- Effective support with guests, ensuring their satisfaction with spa activities.
- Schedules and regularly conducts routine inspections of areas under his/her control.
- Is responsible for maintaining standards to ensure that facilities and equipment are clean, in good condition and well maintained and safe.
- Maintains appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance and posture of spa employees.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality
- 3-4 years experience in 4-5 star Hotel or independent spa
- 2 years minimum supervisory experience
- 2 years minimum as a trainer
- Sales & Customer Service Trainings
