Main Purpose of the Job:
Working within the Stakeholder Team in providing support to the wider programme of works.

Support the team in maintaining and providing consistency across the programme. Coordinating and administering programme level stakeholder engagement communications and statutory approvals.

The key function of the role is to support the existing team members whilst developing and learning about the world of Stakeholder Management with a clear career path in this field.

To support the Stakeholder Team with:
• Develop, implement of the stakeholder management strategy and policy.
• Obtain an understanding of the programme level stakeholder management processes and procedures.
• Maintain and update the Stakeholder Management, Communications and Statutory Approvals section of the PMC’s Programme Management Delivery System (PMDS) including process maps, activity guides and toolkits etc.
• Identify the programme stakeholders and register their roles including: those with a mandated (M) authority role over the programme; those whose activities will be affected (A) by the programme; and those who should be consulted and kept informed (C & I).
• Update the programme stakeholder register as advised by the Stakeholder team.
• Work with the Stakeholder team in supporting the project teams in developing and maintaining comprehensive project level stakeholder registers, matrices and plans.
• Assist the project teams in maintaining their Statutory Approvals Registers.
• Support in the interrogation and understanding of the Statutory Approvals Register at programme and sub-programme level in order to feed into the monthly report.
• Understand the Statutory Approval process required to close out a project and bring the asset into operation.
• Understand and assist in the development of processes and procedures for the close-out of a project and document the process within PMDS
• Maintain comprehensive stakeholder documentation within SharePoint as required.
• Assist the Stakeholder team in preparing regular internal and external communications.

Requirements

• Degree qualification, preferred - BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent.
• Knowledge / Awareness of Programme, Project and Design Management skills.
• Possesses at least 3+ years work experience or is a recent local Graduate Engineer.
• Excellent people management skills.
• Arabic speaker – advantageous, though not mandatory.
• Ability to work well in teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work closely with peers and external customers.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Ability to flex to changing requirements.
