Job description / Role
• Manage Store Supervisors, Store Keepers, Inventory Officers and Store workers working in the stores
• Implement and follow Warehouse procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Inventory Control and Material Management
• Managing the process to make sure all the GRN” s are done timely manner.
• Produce accurate reports for Project/Construction management Material Daily Receipt / Issued and upcoming deliveries.
• Plan and store layout of the storage considering the duration of the projects, project program and on volume and potential hazards.
• Personnel management, Training and Leadership Development and ensure all the store team understand their duties, responsibilities & authority level.
• Train staff members and conduct quarterly performance review.
• Coordinate with project QA/QC engineers to verify all the delivering Engineered /permeant materials are as per the project approved technical materials submittals.
• Laise with project Plant & Logistics team with regards to the requirement of stores
• Create a friendly collaborative working environment to motivate employee and enhance their morale
• Encourage sharing of knowledge across all levels
• Conduct biannual vendor assessment
Requirements
• Bachelor in commerce / Marketing
• Any Int’l Certifications in Supply Chain process or Logistics
• Must have strong knowledge of computerized store activities with depth knowledge working in Inventory Module in any ERP system(s)
• Ensuring the timely delivery of projects
• Maximize margins through effective management of labour, materials and any other overheads
• Inventory, warehouse, material management including minimization of surplus materials
• Comprehensive understanding of complex systems of inventories, deliveries and costs
• Personnel management — manage, recognize and reward talented staff
• Financial understanding of budgets, cost control and financial levers
• Knowledge of the relevant Health & Safety laws relating to working environment.
• To audit the stores processes and make/suggest improvements where necessary
