Job description / Role
• Attend fortnightly progress meetings
• Attend and contribute to weekly site coordination meetings
• Check the contractor’s minutes of the site coordination meetings and approve for Structural and Civil works content
• Receive Structural/ Civil Shop drawings and issue responses or approvals
• Periodically inspect Structural/ Civil works and write defects reports/ site instructions
• Respond to Structural/ Civil RFI’s
• Assist the Client QS to certify for the Structural/ Civil work done
• Examine sample materials and tag as approved
• Examine records of concrete sample testing by contractor(s)
• Inspect all concrete elements including reinforcement just before concrete pour
• Identify and approve quality samples on site
Requirements
• We are looking for Structural Engineer with 8-10 years of experience with Bachelors degree Engineering Degree.
• Healthcare/Hospital experience is highly desirable.
• Good in English communication
• Currently based in Qatar
