Employment: Full Time

Scope and Objectives

The Talent & Culture Coordinator will have responsibility for the coordination and administration of a range of talent acquisition and immigration functions/activities and projects as directed by the Talent Acquisition team, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of recruitment initiatives and projects as well as coordinating, managing all activities that are related to the Government offices, visas and licenses.

Primary Responsibilities

- Work closely with Talent Acquisition Executive/Director and PRO to coordinate recruitment activities and any administrative tasks as required
- Any task which is assigned by the reporting manager and the management of the company
- Assist with interview scheduling and/or tracking of candidates
- Assist with recruitment pre-requisites such as reference checks of shortlisted candidates, follow ups on offer acceptances, documentation etc.,
- Preparation of hiring checklists and/or employment contracts, internship agreements
- Updating and liaising with candidates on their recruitment status'
- Prepare and assist with job postings and managerial announcements
- Support employee experience by ensuring new hires have been supplied with the correct equipment and information during on-boarding process
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Stay current on information relating to local law and changes in law regarding visas
- Ensure proper communication for all visa approvals (work visa, family visa, official visas etc.,) and or transfer of sponsorship approval and government clearances processes
- Ensure the visas of terminated or resigned Colleagues are cancelled and ensure their exit or legal stay in the country
- Work closely with Talent & Culture to assist on assigned projects as required
- Follow departmental policies and procedures
- Follow all safety policies
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable adjustments.

- Ability to effectively deal with a variety of audience, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy.
- Strong computer literacy including knowledge of Windows XP and Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word

Minimum Competencies

- Working knowledge of Qatari culture, customs and laws
- Ability to speak, read and write in English and Arabic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational and planning skills, including ability to prioritize work, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set goals and enforce deadlines, while maintaining flexibility to reassess and prioritize goals
- Ability to function competently in a team environment
- Ability to take initiative, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Multi-lingual
