Job description / Role
• Co-ordinates with the stakeholders for the overall execution of project in technical issues
• Directs drawing office personnel for the preparation of shop drawings as planned & onward submission to the Consultant through the Senior Construction Manager.
• Overseas the implementation of BIM on the project.
• Monitors subcontractors’ activities closely in order to adhere to the Project specifications.
• Analyzes deviations and change of scope, incorporates changes in association with the Project Manager, if necessary re-schedules activities.
• Technical Manager shall have the responsibility of checking, verifying and approving all the drawings & technical documents before issuing for construction.
• Ensure standard operating procedures and project guidelines are in place
• Meet with client teams and gather requirements, conduct regular team meetings
Requirements
Minimum of 18 years experience, with 12 years in the construction of civil engineering projects. Previous assignment as Technical Manager of a large civil or building project. Appropriate experience in all construction & facilities. GCC experience is highly desirable. Works under pressure and meets deadlines Graduate from an accredited institution, specializing in a relevant field of study.
