Traffic Design Engineer– Doha, Qatar

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs conventional and moderately-complex engineering design assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline.
• Coordinates the work between the lead design engineers and CADD team.
• Utilizes traffic analysis and design tools.
• Executes all the traffic design standards.
• Completes traffic operations analysis and traffic impact studies and modelling.
• Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable.
• Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements
Degree in Traffic, Transportation or Civil Engineering.
At least 10 years of relevant design experience in large traffic or transportation projects in the region.
Fully conversant with various traffic analysis and design tools and softwares (e.g. Civil 3D, Autocad, Synchro, Sidra, HCS etc.).
Preferably with relevant traffic design experience in Qatar or Middle East Region.
