Transport Operations Function Manager - Qatar World Cup Programme - Doha, Qatar
As a Transport Operations Function Manager, you will have the chance to lead a Transport Team responsible for planning and delivering unique transport solutions for the 2022 Football World Cup, with the overall objective to provide safe, secure, functional, reliable, accessible and seamless mobility for all constituent groups.
Reporting to the Transport Operations Senior Manager, you will be able to take ownership of the Transport Mobility plan for the World Cup, overseeing multi modal forms of transport from international arrivals/departures to ensuring that there are well planned transport arrangements for each competition and non-competition venue.
During your time with us you will lead a group of transport professionals on the development and delivery of all operational solutions and plans. Your position will require you to look at the bigger picture and help integrate multiple transport functions, aligning stakeholders and working groups to ensure conformity to the overall transport plan.
Requirements
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
As an ideal candidate, you will be degree qualified and will have pursued a career in Transport Operations spanning over 20 years. You will come with a sound understanding of programme/project management methodology coupled with proven experience in transport operations, ideally covering major events such as sporting competitions, Commonwealth Games, Olympics etc.
You will also be able to demonstrate recent leadership capabilities and will have held a management position for at least 10 years.
