Job Description

What you will be doing:

- Inspect, record and mark the garment as per standard and ensuring inventory of all uniforms are maintained.
- Maintain accurate records of items washed, number of loads, and poundage of dry cleaning and laundry.
- Tracking which items belong to whom.
- Inspect and hang all clean Garment once treatment is completed
- Anticipating and responding to customers' queries, concerns, and complaints.
- Process laundry by either washing, dry cleaning or pressing according to department standards and procedures
- Perform minor sewing duties when applicable or pass them to the seamstress.
- Report stains or torn laundry, as well as any items left in pockets or jewelry on clothing before beginning the process of cleaning
- Assist all staff at laundry counter for any services request.
- Pay particular attention to any items that require pre-wash soaking
- Ensure that hangers are returned and stored in to hanger racks station.
- Communicate effectively with all laundry personal and all other departments.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

- Good oral proficiency in English language
- Prior experience in a similar role is an asset
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
