Mission for Workshop Supervisor:
The basic mission of this role is to plan, direct and coordinate activities of designated tasks to ensure that objectives of workshop are accomplished within prescribed timeframe and funding parameters by performing the duties personally or through subordinates
Outcomes:
Specific, measurable, and objective outcomes to be an “A Player” in this role
Conduct a daily check and track
• Spare parts procurement
• Stock of the spare parts and tools
• Schedule modification
• Technical system deficiencies and implement effective solutions
Supervise and Maintain
• Quality check of spare parts and tools
• Vehicles Maintenance and repairs
• Fabrications
• 100% Accurate records of stock
• Functional condition of firefighting equipment
• Budget expenditures
Report to Department Head
• Violations and acts that effect HSE regulations
• Activities that impact company reputations
• Other reports as required daily weekly monthly
Be well-informed about
• Health and Safety Procedures
• Regulatory changes from statutory bodies
• Legal requirements if any
Secure (100%), timely and accurate (99%) workshop spare parts reporting
• Stock Tracking
• Defects and procurement requests
• Monthly Expenditure
Requirements
• Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
Technically Competent
• Possesses and maintains the functional and technical knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job.
• Collaborative - Works effectively with others to accomplish goals.
• Problem Solver - Uses data and logic to quickly find solutions to difficult challenges.
