HAZOP Team Leader

This course aims to provide participants with the understanding on the use of HAZOP study in hazard identification and analysis. Participants will also learn about the basic requirements to be a HAZOP Team Leader and learn about HAZOP methodology. They will also learn how to conduct and manage HAZOP session in this course.

The HAZOP Team leader’s roles are;

• Prepares for the study
• Advises on the selection of team members
• Methodology and definition of study scope
• Oversees the team’s brainstorming of cause and consequences of possible accidents
• Formation of recommendations for appropriate corrective actions
