In this role, you will be a key member of the Finance team, it will provide you with the opportunity to help Deloitte in all aspects of statutory reporting, compliance and taxation matters. You'll focus on reporting and audit of financial statements, regulatory compliance, tax schedules and reporting and risk management.
During your tenure as an Associate, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Perform regular reconciliations of fixed asset subledger to the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and transactions to ensure proper elimination and consolidation.
- Collaborate with other internal departments, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Projects, to gather information and ensure accuracy in financial reporting monthly.
- Ad hoc Projects Assigned by Management.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- B ased in KSA, Riyadh
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting and regulatory compliance in consultancy or Construction.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, tax regulations, and accounting principles.
- Experience with tax software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle or Ms Dynamics D365).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual speaker English & Arabic is must.
