Accounting Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the financial aspects of our construction JV project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting team, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and providing strategic financial guidance to the management team. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, experience in the construction industry, and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Provide recommendations
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

Salary:
SAR 25,000 to 35,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CMA certification is preferred
- Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role
- Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with creating financial statements and general ledgers
- Strong analytical and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
