Job description / Role
• Management of Accounting team and Co-ordination with accounting team in other BU's for reconciliations
• Responsible for all account payables, ensuring payment scheduling as per contracts/invoices
• Management of banking relationships; co-ordination with Bank for rejected salaries and issuing chq to employees; co-ordination with Bank on various queries on LC, chq deposit, Pro-cash, Customer LC etc., custodian of security checks & bank guarantees from suppliers
• Management of external and internal auditors; accounting adjustments from Audit recommendation, entertain quarterly audit smoothly and timely manner, providing various schedules and relevant explanations to Auditors, post Audit feedback/comments to auditors as and when required with valid information/details, providing required documents to Auditors as and when required, liaise with Banks on Bank Confirmation for Audit
• Management of general ledger and profit & loss statements, creating monthly reporting file (B/S) coordinating with Costing, AR team for their reports
• Assisting in the preparation of all financial reporting
• Arranging Insurance for purchase (CFR orders), attending meeting on open LPO and providing trouble shoot ideas to close the issue in time, interactions with HO on EURO remittances, reviewing vendor aging and follow up for timely payments to suppliers, following up with managers for online payment approvals, following up for advances to suppliers and closure in time, verifying payments & Online approvals
Requirements
• Graduation – ACCA / ACA / CIMA / ACMA / MBA
• 5-8 years post qualification experience; out of which 2 years should be in an equivalent Supervisory position
• Accounting and Credit management of at least 5 years, preferable FMCG/Manufacturing industry experience
• Middle East experience is preferable
• Arabic speaking candidates would be preferred
