Job description / Role
Objectives:
• To coordinate all international and domestic shipment bookings and movements.
• To ensure that all transactions are made in accordance with the local operation procedures
Main responsibilities:
• Coordinates all domestic / International export / Import shipments bookings; works closely with all partners and ensures that shipments are handled as per the clients requirements.
• Receives Pre-alert for the shipments and update customers with same on time
• Monitors jobs on system and follow up it until close status.
• Tracks shipment ETA’s in advance in carriers tracking portal.
• Works closely with all carriers and ensures clients are advised timely on arrival of shipments.
• Sends arrival notice for the shipment min. 2 days prior to arrival of shipment.
• Updates status to Customers on status and delays in Arrival. Updates details in system.
• Checks B/L status (original or seaway BL) and freight details prior to arrival of shipment.
• Ensures all required shipping documents are received before arrival of shipment.
• Reporting to: Operations Manager
• Other interactions: Freight , Shipping , Logistics , Procurement

• Desired start date: ASAP
• Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday 8 am to 6 pm
• Commission / Bonus: Bonus as per company policy

Requirements
Nature and length of previous experience:
• 3-6 years experience in freight forwarding industry
Specialist knowledge:
• Air / Ocean Freight Import or Export experience in freight forwarding with leadership experience will be an advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
• Knowledge of all Import/Export regulations and documents
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Exceptional customer service and follow up skills
• Age Range: 25 - 35
• Gender Preference: Male
• Language Fluency: English , Arabic
• Current Location: Saudi Arabia
