Aircraft Maintenance General Manager

Saudi Arabia

Due to continued growth in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia we are recruiting for a high calibre Aircraft Maintenance Manager to join our client's team. The Aircraft Maintenance General Manager will be responsible for the effective and efficient management and oversight of all aircraft maintenance operations, ensuring safety, compliance, sustainability, and operational excellence for the airline's 24/7 maintenance, A-check, and Tooling teams.

Job-specific Accountabilities:

* Develop and implement effective aircraft maintenance operations, ensuring compliance and controlling related costs.
* Manage Technical projects as directed by the Head of Maintenance Operations.
* Coordinate all aircraft maintenance activities and ensure certifying staff remain current with authorizations.
* Implement Human Factors and Human Performance principles to enhance workplace safety.
* Ensure maintenance activities align with customer instructions and meet contracted standards.
* Promote Safety Management System (SMS) processes and conduct risk assessments for operational changes.
* Maintain a safe and secure working environment, minimizing incidents and fostering a culture of safety awareness.
* Provide resources and support for employee involvement in Safety Management System development and safety culture enhancement.

Requirements

Qualification profile

* Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, or related field or relevant experience.
* Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License
* Proven experience in aircraft maintenance management roles.
* Familiarity with aviation regulatory requirements
* Proficiency in aviation maintenance software and systems
