Associate Director - Corporate Coverage

Job description / Role

Our client, a global corporate and investment bank are currently looking to strengthen their coverage team in Riyadh. This is a stand-alone role, however, will have a number of Assistant Relationship Managers taking care of day-to-day account management tasks. The purpose of this role is to originate all vanilla corporate banking transactions; FX, Trade Finance, Working Capital, Cash Management and Loans while driving cross-sell to maximize large corporate relationships.

The Role:
- Builds a thorough understanding of client activities, strategy, organization and needs
- Defines and proposes client strategy and priorities, including Client Action Plans for selected clients in coordination with Business Lines
- Develops and follows a marketing agenda per client and coordinates the involvement of Business Lines, when relevant
- Achieve business objectives with respect to vanilla Banking solutions
- Originates, negotiates and closes vanilla Trade and Loan transactions with the objective of optimizing revenue generation and cross-selling for the amount of employed capital
- Originates and closes vanilla Cash Management and Deposit transactions and ensures their rollover / expansion
- Actively markets Centric and the e-banking suite and continuously grows the electronification of flows
- Identifies and refers complex / value-added business opportunities across Business lines and coordinates client pitching by Product Specialists

Salary:
SAR 50,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- 6-10 years corporate banking experience across; Trade Finance, Cash Management & Forex
- Extensive knowledge of Working Capital management requirements
- Highly sales-oriented, self-starting individual
- Candidates must be based in Riyadh
