Associate Quantity Surveyor Theme Park - Riyadh, KSA

Key Responsibilities:

- Undertaken and manage all pre and post contract estimating activities;
- Undertake and manage all BOQ production activities;
- Undertake and manage all tendering and award activities;
- Management of bonds, insurances and guarantee logs;
- Interim valuations and payment certificates;
- Assisting in variations analysis, recommendations and management;
- Management of risk and value management workshops;
- Undertaking all cost control functions;
- Undertake and manage all costs analysis activities;
- Assisting in identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks;
- Assisting in preparation of progress / cost reports;
- Reporting to Regional Director on all commercial issues;
- Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations;
- Attendance and representation at commercial meetings.

Requirements

Experiences and Qualifications:

- Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised University or Masters in Quantity Surveying;
- MRICS qualification preferred;
- Project experience must be broad but include Leisure and entertainment developments (e.g. Theme park, water park);
- Major project experience essential;
- Willingness to travel and to be located in Riyadh KSA;
- Must have previous experience of FIDIC and bespoke Contracts;
- Min 10 years relevant regional experience;
- Must have consultant and/or client background who have been involved with delivery of themed entertainment projects;
- Knowledge in the use of QS software CATO or similar is required;
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
- Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
