Associate - Real Estate

Job description / Role

A very interesting role has arisen to work for one of the region's top tier firm's, within their Jeddah Office. The firm has a very large presence across the Middle East Region and is one of the most reputable brands, appearing top tier in many practice areas including Real Estate.

At this time, they are currently looking to hire an Associate - Real Estate to work in a lead role within the Jeddah practice. My client already boasts a healthy book of business in the Jeddah market, and are looking to hire an experienced and entrepreneurial lawyer who can continue to build on this. The candidate should speak fluent English, be Western (Common Law) trained and qualified, and have the ability to work with a level of autonomy. They should also possess at least 6 years experience of working on non-contentious real estate matters including property transactions, real estate/strata development, Leasing, JV’s and corporate structuring within a real estate context. The successful candidate should also possess excellent relationship development and management skills, as well as be a keen business developer and networker.

The firm's award-winning Real Estate Practice provides a comprehensive range of legal services across the Middle East, covering all areas relevant to the real estate industry. Established in 2003, the Practice was the first of its kind in the GCC and the Firm has maintained a prominent lead in the real estate legal space since then. Their team of well-respected real estate lawyers harness an impressive blend of western and regional qualifications, contentious and non-contentious experience and bilingual capability. They are regularly consulted by governmental authorities on the content and drafting of new real estate laws and regulations. Their central involvement in the development of the underlying legal framework ensures our clients' access to unrivalled legal advice and insight.

Requirements

• Common Law Jurisdiction qualification (UK, USA, AUS, NZ)
• Minimum of 6 PQE
• Fluent/Native English Language skills

Work experience of the following:
• Property transactions
• Real estate/strata development
• Leasing
• JV’s and corporate structuring within a real estate context
• Acute Business Development skills
• Hospitality experience is preferred but not essential
