Automation & Control Engineer

Job description / Role

Testing and commercial activities related to Power System Protection, Automation & Control (including SCADA/RTU/Power Monitoring System/PLC) like Automation Project Estimation, Engineering & Design, Protection / Control IEDs & Network configuration, interfacing, HMI & System Integration, Testing & Commissioning including FAT / iFAT & SAT, troubleshooting, preparation of procedures, coordination of activities and related documentation.

Direct work experience of minimum 3 years in the field related to (1) Power System Protection covering programming / Testing & Commissioning of Protection, Control & Metering IEDs, and/or (2) Power System Automation & Control, covering Protection & Control IEDs, Power Monitoring System, SCADA/RTU/PLC & HMI, Communication configuration & interfacing of network devices (routers, ethernet switches, gateways, Servers). and/or (3) Certified Professional in application software, database, network administration, installation and configuration of LAN/WAN/ATM.

Requirements

• Technical and commercial knowledge related to Power System Protection, Automation & Control), including various communication protocols (Modbus, DNP, IEC 61850, etc) application software of HMI/SCADA solutions & system/device configuration.
• BS/BE/BTech Electrical / Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Certified professional courses (like CCNA, CCNP, MCP, MCTS, etc) in application software, Database/Network administration, installation and configuration of LAN/WAN/ATM.
