Beauty Specialist

To provide a welcoming and memorable treatment experience to guests. To contribute towards creating an immaculate facility and guest experience in all areas of Beauty .

Hotel Overview: Makkah Clock Royal Tower, A Fairmont Hotel, is located only a few steps away from the Masjid Al Haram and the Holy Ka'aba. This 76-story hotel, one of the world's tallest, is the focal point of the Abraj Al Bait Complex, part of the King Abdul Aziz Endowment Project, is the iconic symbol of hospitality in the Holy City. The hotel authentic hospitality is seen throughout 1618 guest rooms and suites are thoughtfully and elegantly appointed-with extravagant amenities and five-star services that allow for peaceful reflection and repose .

Summary of Responsibilities

Reporting to the Health Club Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Ensuring the comfort and safety of all guests.
- Meeting all LQA standards while providing a personalized and memorable experience.
- Ensuring the facilities and treatment rooms are maintained and replenished to a high standard at all times.
- Meeting sales targets for the upselling of treatments and products.
- Welcome guests, provide a warm orientation and anticipate guest needs during visit.
- Schedule treatment bookings and ensure smooth operation of the reception.
- Perform massages, facials, manicures and pedicures in a safe, professional and hygienic manner.
- Ensure timeliness for appointments and thoroughly review appointments after completing each service.
- Assist in the operations of the reception and the facilities.
- Deal with any guest complaints, comments or concerns with discretion and urgency.
- Maintain guest confidentiality at all times.
- Comply with all health and safety processes.
- Assist with monthly stock take.
- Maintain accurate accounting procedures for transactions and reconciliations.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends and servicing protocols with the aim to continue to improve and enhance our services.

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Passion for customer service and providing outstanding treatments to all guests.
- Previous experience in a luxury environment is an asset.
- Trained in body treatments, facials, manicure and pedicure.
- Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required with a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Energetic individual who is able to prioritize to complete many diverse tasks concurrently.

Physical Aspects of Position:
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

- Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling.
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
