Job description / Role
The person in this position as Technical Translator must have thorough knowledge and vocabulary of telecommunication terminology and is able to translate technical documents.
Working as an important member of the Administration Department team responsible for translation & word processing of following material from English to Arabic and vice versa :
• Assist in translating tender specifications, contract documents, training manuals and operation & maintenance manuals
• Translate company’s brochures and user manuals for technical products, accessories and other telecom equipment using proper telecommunication terminology
• Bilingual translation of company’s outgoing & incoming correspondence
Requirements
Ideally, aged between 35-45, excel in business communication, holding degree in English literature having proven track record of handling bilingual translation from English to Arabic and vice versa. Familiarity with telecommunication terminology and strong vocabulary both in English & Arabic languages is essentially required. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position. Person must demonstrate a higher degree of professionalism in handling all aspects of the duties.
Fully familiar with MS Office applications both Arabic & English (Word,, Excel, Power Point etc)
