The Role

The EMEA country business management group is part of the broader Global Finance and Business Management function. This role will support all Lines of Businesses (LOBs) within Saudi Arabia (Commercial Bank and Securities Businesses).

The main responsibilities for this role are two fold, first mandate is to support the Riyadh Branch Senior Country Officer (SCO) and Saudi Arabia Ltd.

Job Responsibilities

* Support the SCO and CEO in driving the strategic agenda for Saudi Arabia
* Co-Chair the Local Operating Committees and effectively contribute to the overall governance infrastructure by supporting various committees (agenda, minutes, action):
* Ensure that appropriate governance committees are operating effectively
* Review adequacy of governance framework in line with business growth
* Support Board of Directors and its subcommittees
* Act as secretary for the Local Management Committee
* Act as a day to day escalation point for all LOBs
* Oversee key projects as mandated by SCO/CEO and regional COO
* Provide senior sponsorship for all Audits, regulatory examinations and associated remediation plans
* Successfully manage all corporate and support function in location
* Oversee the delivery of all New Business Initiatives throughout their life cycles; from the assessment to post implementation review phase
* Deal pipeline maintenance, review and reporting including high quality performance information and value-add analysis
* Productions and review of market analysis - league tables, wallet, and market share, etc.
* Manage the operational controls and risk agenda, partnering with risk, compliance and oversight and control functions to ensure effective issue management and escalations

Requirements

* Coordinate all business resiliency activities (planning, BCP documents, Resiliency testing)
* Manage the relationship with regulator (SAMA/CMA) providing a single point of contact for all regulatory matters in cooperation with compliance officers
* Continuously lead the in-country optimization of operating models which are both SAMA and CMA compliant
* Co-ordinate the preparation and presentation of financial information and all other management MIS reporting packs
* Budgetary and Capacity Planning ensuring business growth is supported by robust infrastructure
* Contribute to the planning and execution of all marketing initiatives including event management
* Support Human Resources head in recruiting, retaining and developing our people. Drive a culture of excellence by utilizing the firm's resources and contribute to a healthy working environment
* Assist in change management, real estate planning and corporate licensing renewals Track client agenda including performance/client planning
* Manage client coverage list and client reference data across all systems
* In partnership with compliance, ensure Saudi operations continue to be in compliance with firm's global financial crime standards at all time
* Work with various groups to deliver the technology agenda
* Provide ad hoc financial and market analysis to meet business requests
* Contribute to the MENA Finance and Business Management agenda
