Job Overview
As a recognized company expert in the chemical business, IK Liquids to Chemicals is building refining and petrochemical facilities across the kingdom. The integration and optimization specialist primary role is to ensure good integration across the various LTC projects and individual units with a focus on integration and optimization opportunities to improve the project economics.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Improving LTC program projects economics
- Addressing opportunities aspects relating to integrating the hydrocarbons which are transferred between a refinery and a petrochemicals facility. This would be at different levels including; within same complex and/or with other neighboring facilities.
- Optimize Refinery Process Flow & Fuels Blending
- Optimize Steam Cracking Feed Selection, Process Flow and Configuration
- Optimize Aromatics Feed, Products& Recovery
- Indicate process Interactions at the Refinery/Chemical Plants Interface
- Conduct Techno-Economic Evaluations
- Participate in hazard operability (HAZOP) and safety integrity level (SIL) studies as required

Requirements

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related. An advanced degree is preferred.
- At least fifteen years of experience in refining and petrochemicals process units, including at least five years in integration and optimization.
