Chief Accountant

Job description / Role

• Performs the reconciliation & other direct responsibility
• Bank accounts.
• Receivables control & Aging
• Direct supervision of the Receivable section.
• Monthly Payroll
• Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, and financial position forecasts.

Requirements

• Supervise employees performing financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections.
• Conduct or coordinate audits of hotels’ accounts and financial transactions to ensure compliance with local regulations and statutes.
• Monitor and evaluate the accounting performance and other financial staff.
• Provide direction and assistance to other department regarding accounting policies and procedures, and efficient control and utilization of financial resources.
• Compute, withhold, and account for all payroll deductions.
• ensuring complete and accurate financial reporting and full reconciliation of the balance sheet
• To ensure revenue, capital expenditure and income are properly accounted for.
• that payments are made and income recovered expeditiously
• To provide financial advice and support the Hotel management with documented financial situation.
