Chief Operating Officer (COO) - (Relocation to Saudi Arabia)

Group Five Pipe Saudi (GFPS) is an ISO 9001 & API 5L accredited leading steel pipe manufacturing company - producing large diameter steel welded water, oil, and gas transmission pipes (18”- 132” wall thickness with 6 - 25 mm from API 5L GRADE B up X70) with the annual capacity of 500,000 metric tons of pipe production.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence and primary goal will be to increase organization's productivity, efficiency, and profitability. Reporting to CEO on key operational insights and to the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities:
• Developing and accomplishing goals and strategic plans established by Board members and executives of the Company and present operational strategy recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
• Approving company policies, implementing company policy decisions, and executing board directives.
• Implement best-practice manufacturing methods and introduce new practices and systems to improve productivity, yield and quality with steel pipe manufacturing.
• Set and Manage production budgets.
• Estimate production costs and cost control programs.
• Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives.
• Chairing management review meetings and related business/operations meetings.
• Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures

Salary:
USD 13,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Preference will be given to Westerner or American/Canadian nationals due to job requirements/nature of activities.
• Responsible for ensuring operational excellence and primary goal will be to increase organization's productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
• Reporting to CEO on key operational insights and to the Board of Directors.

Qualifications:
• Engineering degree (Mechanical or related) having minimum 15 years' of executive experience as Chief Operating Officer or similar roles in spiral weld pipes (API 5L) mill or same industry.
• Experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Skilled in business, finance and management principles including human resource strategies.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
