Job description / Role
Chief Operations Officer for prestigious government entity in Saudi Arabia. Responsible for overall management and functions of entire department.

Description:
* Responsible for all operational activities of the organisation including
* Strategic direction and planning of the organisation and goal setting
* Establish goals and milestones to ensure transformation and overall improvement of operational activity.
* Overseeing the Centre of Excellence for all Shared service functions across the organisation
* Formulate and control all departmental spend, purchasing, recruitment and training ensuring the highest calibre of people and service if offered

Requirements
* Either public or private sector Board or Executive level leadership role in complex organisation
* Candidate must be Saudi National
* Degree, MBA qualifications as a minimum
* Strong background in policy strategy, planning and budgetary control of multi departmental entity
* Ideally some exposure to Shared Service functions for all support departments including HR, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Planning and IT
* Strong communication, interpersonal skills and agility to drive through change and establish robust processes and systems
