Chief Risk Officer

Job description / Role

A great opportunity to be part of prestigious Financial Services and Investment Company as Chief Risk Officer based in Riyadh where you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Bank's risk management framework and bank-wide strategies across operational, market, liquidity and credit risk.

Responsibilities Include:
• Ensuring the implementation of an effective risk management framework including governance and control over all risks.
• Generating the optimum Risk Reward balance for the organization and creating a robust risk infrastructure for various stake holders
• Developing risk quantification and aggregation of all risk exposures methodologies, continuous monitoring and pro-active control of all associated limits, controls and risks ensuring complete and consistent recording of all risks.
• Overseeing compliance with the statutory requirements of regulators in Saudi and implementing leading practices pertaining to risk management including but not limited to Basel II/ III pronouncements.
• Risk review of Business portfolios and funds and monitoring quantitative risk measures for investment funds, proprietary investments, capital adequacy model and structured investment products

Requirements

• 15 years of experience with a bank / financial institution, preferably an investment bank, in the GCC.
• CME-1 Certified professional
• Solid knowledge of Basel II, Capital Adequacy Ratios and ICAAP.
• Degree in Finance ideally with an MBA .
• Certificates such as CFA/ FRM are highly desirable
• Priority will be given to Saudi Nationals.
