Civil Engineer

Job description / Role

The core manufacturing activities of the industries operating under alfanar Building Systems are:
- Real estate development
- Façade cladding, glazing systems and architectural aluminum products
- Precast concrete products and architectural elements

Job Purpose

We are currently seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a fresh or junior engineer with a keen interest and some experience in concrete technology. Proficiency in English is crucial for effective communication within our international team. Candidates with a track record of publishing articles in prestigious journals will be given preference

Key Accountability Areas
- Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects, with a focus on concrete technology.
- Conduct research and analysis to support project planning and execution.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure project goals are met efficiently and effectively.
- Perform quality control tests on construction materials, particularly concrete, to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations as required.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in civil engineering and concrete technology.

Role Accountability
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of concrete technology principles and practices.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Previous experience in publishing articles in reputable journals (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in civil engineering ( AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, Minitab, MATLAB, and Microsoft Office Suite ).
