We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager with expertise in infrastructure project design, to oversee commercial aspects of our transport and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia, with a particular focus on IPD projects.?

As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of commercial and contractual aspects of IPD projects, including design-focused initiatives in the transport and infrastructure sector. You will play a vital role in ensuring project profitability, risk mitigation, and compliance while fostering strong client relationships.

Your new role, what's involved?
• Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute commercial strategies that align with project goals, ensuring profitability and adherence to IPD principles.
• Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations, administration, and compliance, ensuring that contractual terms are adhered to and optimized.
• Financial Control: Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-effective strategies to maximize project profitability.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks related to commercial and contractual aspects, implementing mitigation strategies.
• Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing their commercial concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Change Management: Handle change orders and variations, ensuring they align with project objectives and client requirements.
• Procurement: Manage procurement processes, including subcontractor selection, bidding, and negotiation.
• Claims Management: Oversee and manage project claims, disputes, and resolutions in collaboration with legal teams, as needed.
• Reporting: Prepare and present commercial reports to senior management, highlighting financial performance and areas of improvement.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost-saving measures, promoting a culture of efficiency.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager on design projects, with a strong background in design-focused initiatives within the transport and infrastructure sector.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects.
• GCC experience.
• Experience in handling lump sum projects.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in contract management software and financial analysis tools.
• Fluency in English.
