Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Maintain and review the Fixed Asset Registers for the Department and all Projects, and associated depreciation schedules in the ERP System; provide monthly detail to the Regional Finance Director on all General Journal entries; insure proper recording of new purchases and disposals, perform fixed assets observations as required for the Corporate and Project based;
• Prepare labels and maintain files as needed within the department;
• Prepare correspondence as needed within the finance and accounting department;
• Assist management with facility support and security issues;
• Perform and review ad hoc analysis as required;
• Prepare, examine, or analyze Project based accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards;
• Report to management regarding the finances of organization;
• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts;
• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of ERP software;
• Advise in areas such as the design of accounting or data processing systems;
• Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs;
• Provide support to internal or external audit teams; and
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
• Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

Requirements

• Nationality Preference: Western Expats or Saudi National
• Language Fluency: English
• Current Location: Anywhere (Saudi - preferred)
• Age Range: 59 max
• Specialist knowledge: Must have knowledge of the Project Contract Compliance and Fixed Asset Accounting Oversight within the Finance and Accounting Department.
• Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum five years of experience working in a corporate organization, preference given to Big4 audit experience.
• Minimum of 08 years of Experience in total.
• 03 years of experience in Fixed Assets Accounting in Finance and Accounting Department.
• University Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business Administration
