Concrete Superintendent

Job description / Role

Client is a leading international contractor who specialise in oil and gas projects as well as major building and civil engineering projects.

They are currently looking to recruit a concrete superintendent for one of their projects in Saudi Arabia.

The role will involve supervision of all concrete construction activities including safety measures and work permits.

You will be responsible for coordination between sub contractors and concrete crews, preparing mix designs, preparing manuals for batching plants, advising on concrete placing.

Requirements

Candidates should have preferably have a construction related degree or diploma and should have at least 10 - 15 years experience in all types of concrete works on major construction projects.

Candidates should have experience of;
- Preparing mix designs
- Preparing manuals for batching plants.
- Knowledge of concrete placing.
- Knowledge of concrete works in hot weather.
- Knowledge of routine testing of concrete and materials.
- Experience of asphalt works
- Experience of laboratory testing procedures an standards.
- Knowledge of civil construction works
