Job description / Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant And Specialist Plastic Surgeon to join our medical team in Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University Government Hospital, Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures to enhance patients' appearance and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Performing a wide range of plastic surgery procedures, including reconstructive surgery, cosmetic surgery, and microsurgery
- Evaluating patients' medical history and conducting physical examinations to determine the most suitable surgical approach
- Developing personalized treatment plans for each patient, taking into consideration their aesthetic goals and medical needs
- Educating patients about the potential risks and benefits of various surgical procedures, and obtaining informed consent
- Working collaboratively with other medical professionals, such as anesthesiologists, nurses, and dermatologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases and recommend the most effective treatment options
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in plastic surgery techniques and technologies through continuous learning and professional development
Requirements
- Mbbs/Ms/ Mch Medical degree from a recognized medical school and completion of a residency program in plastic surgery
- Board certification in plastic surgery and a valid medical license to practice in Saudi Arabia
- 2 years Proven experience as a Consultant and Specialist Plastic Surgeon, with a strong track record of successful surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction
- Excellent surgical skills, with the ability to perform both traditional and advanced plastic surgery techniques
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and address their concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Strong ethical values and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in Arabic being a plus
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the plastic surgery department
