Job description / Role
• Study and understand all relevant project documents relating to the cost management of allocated project(s)
• Conduct Bid/Proposal breakdown and provide realistic cost estimation to the relevant sector in Sales Department
• Developing quotes for product configurations
• Review and interpret customer needs on plans and technical specifications
• Determine the minimum bill of material, most competitive price level and shipment cycle within the market segment pertaining to each specific negotiation
• Assist Costing Section Head in identifying and gaining approval of Estimates/ Change Requests
• Assist the Purchase Department with product selection and technical support in preparation of suppliers PO and forward to Purchasing Manager for processing.
• Prepare the RFQ/RFP summary document and also prepare a clarification document
• Custodian of Sales Order files & records
Requirements
• High level of practical technical knowledge in the design, installation and servicing of integrated electrical systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and fluent written and verbal English
• Mathematical acumen, good communication skills
• Ability to assimilate detailed technical information
• Good team player, self-driven and good in number
• At least 3 years project estimating and cost controlling
• Past experience in electrical equipment manufacturing/trading or EPC domain is required
• B.E/B. Tech (Electronics/ Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent
